Beer isn’t cheap in Malaysia, much better to drink the home made spirits available from most convenience stores.

Food is cheap everywhere, our personal favourite is Roti Channai at a dollar for 2 Rotis and curry sauce.

From the KLIA International terminal, catch the Red busses into KL Sentral for $4 per person, DO NOT USE A TAXI it will cost about $100.

Most mid class hotels found on booking dot com will cost about $50/night, including breakfast for two people.

 

Kuala Lumpur

Theres a few cool things to do in KL, I’ll go through them one at a time .

Bird Park, is one of the biggest exotic bird parks in the world, where you can see a cockatoo riding a scooter and doing other amazing tricks. There are so many beautiful coloured birds flying freely around inside a massive netted enclosed that you can walk through. KLCC, home of the Petronas twin towers, for $27 you can take a super fast elevator to the very spacious skybridge that links the two towers on the 41st floor. Tours run from 9am till 815pm Tuesday to Sunday. After that you can go all the way to the top at 86 floors to the more cramped observation deck.
